Leadership theories abound. Many are difficult to process and even more confusing to put into practice. AT WVLI the professional staff has studied the many theorists and, as well, utilized their best creative thinking to hone a stimulating over-all program.

Individualized coaching is at the core of the WVLI experience. Further explanations regarding this facet of the program may be found in the Program Design Document. That document also details the relationship between the participant, her manager and her mentor.

The content of the eleven day-long workshops is the focus. Accelerated learning is used to strengthen each participant's leadership competencies. Guest speakers, who are current executive women, enhance many sessions, by sharing their experiences in becoming more effective leaders.

The workshops include a variety of training methodologies including case studies, hands-on practice and group presentations.
