WiseWomen
Council
What
is the WiseWomen Council?
The
Women'sVision Foundation sponsors the WiseWomen Council, a
prestigious leadership forum for top corporate executive women.
The Council's primary mission is to support and enhance the
role of women in corporate leadership positions and to advance
the next generation of executive women.
The
Council was developed to further the advancement of corporate
women by supporting the Women'sVision Foundation in being
"the voice for corporate women".
What
kinds of activities are available?
The
WiseWomen participate in a variety of educational and social
events each year including an annual conference. At these
exclusive events, Council members get to know each other,
discuss important business and women's issues, and foster
a strong sense of community among themselves.
How
do I become a WiseWomen?
Corporate
executive women qualify as WiseWomen if they serve at the
top or second level in a company, are a regional vice president
of a large corporation, or report to the top executive in
a company meeting the size requirements. Headquarters may
be located within Colorado or outside the state, but the company's
local operation must generally include annual revenue exceeding
$50,000,000 and have a minimum of 150 employees in Colorado.
