Men's Leadership Institute is Celebrating A Successful Inaugural Year

There is a radically new men’s leadership program in town! Building on the decade-long success of the Women'sVision Leadership Institute, the Women'sVision Foundation is celebrating the successful inaugural year of the Men's Leadership Institute. Since January 2012, the MLI has contributed to the professional development of a core group of thirteen local leaders from a cross-section of Colorado businesses. Following a three-day retreat in January, each participant attended a monthly day-long leadership workshop. MLI departs from most leadership development programs in that it is applied leadership providing 25 hours of one-to-one executive coaching. This adds depth to the workshops and results in a highly individualized developmental experience. Join us for the next Men's leadership institute session

Women’sVision Foundation believes that individuals, organizations and communities thrive when women and men share leadership and power.

Men who attend the MLI will:

  • Learn to articulate their leadership brand
  • Look, act and become the leader they have always wanted to be
  • Become more confident as they become authentic leaders

No other leadership development program will make such a profound difference in their career!

MLI Is “Applied Leadership”

  • Monthly day-long workshops throughout the year
  • Weekly coaching with an executive coach who also works with your manager and mentor
  • Adult learning focus utilizing accelerated learning principles (no talking heads in front of the room)

The Men's Leadership Institue has already contributed to the success of those in the first class. Read what they have to say:

My biggest challenge as a leader was the belief that most of the barriers to effectiveness were related to time management and organization.  The Men's Leadership Institute has taught me otherwise. Today I feel I am on the path to a profound transformation in my own leadership style and abilities.
- Todd Hansell, Director, Design Quality Engineering, Covidien Surgical Solutions

MLI and our facilitators provide me with the skills to realize and refine my core values, enhance my leadership abilities, and refine my ability to understand and communicate better with other people who have differing values and opinions.
- Hal Shapiro, Central Region Sales Manager - Building Insulations, Johns Manville Corp.

MLI is a year-long journey providing exposure to increased learning for all aspects of Leadership.  During this time you are exposed to the experience and knowledge of the facilitators which is enhanced by participants that also bring varied background and experience to the team.
- Kevin Sinclair, Manager, ULA Human Launch Services - Avionics Engineering Lead
