Why do people listen to some women and not to
others? How can women communicate assertively
without being seen as harsh or aggressive?
Communication skills can make or break a relationship, a career, or a
business. It is possible to be assertive
- and listened to with respect at the same time.
This program examines individual communication styles
to help you understand your strengths and challenges. Discover simple, but essential strategies to
adapt your communication style to build rapport with your audience; explore
techniques to navigate through difficult and emotionally charged conversations;
and become a more effective communicator.
Learn to speak so others will listen in a way that encourages them to
open up and speak with you!
Participants will learn to:
- Become better listeners
- Rid vocabulary of ‘weak’ words
- Acquire the confident language of success
- Reduce miscommunication and wasted time
- Get what they need without sounding aggressive
- Diffuse anger and skillfully manage difficult
situations
- Adapt communication styles to build rapport and
effectiveness
- Understand personal communication strengths and
challenges
Essentials for Great Communication is a one-day
workshop with interactive exercises, group discussion and individual strategy
development. This program includes
