What are the gaps in your leadership resume?

Leadership is more important than ever in today’s knowledge-driven organizations.  It requires more than just the right technical skills and IQ - corporate leaders at all levels must also possess the right values, behaviors, and emotions.  This comprehensive, program addresses the development needs of the company and the individual.

In addition to encouraging individual growth and development, participants are guided to understand the importance and application of emotional intelligence in the business world.  They learn tangible skills that serve to improve personal and professional interactions and strategies to apply emotional intelligence for immediate results. This program is transformational and most importantly, sustainable.

The program is divided into three parts:

Phase I – Individual Assessment of Emotional Intelligence using the EQ-i®.   Participants receive personal feedback of their results in a confidential one-on-one telephone interpretation with an accredited provider.  The EQ-i® is regarded as one of the most robust measures of EI available and meets the highest standards of reliability and validity. *Please note: While not a requirement for participation, it is strongly recommended that participants complete Phase I before attending the workshop.

Phase II - A Customized Workshop spotlighting the competencies of emotional intelligence teaching skills and strategies to improve performance and effectiveness.   The workshop is highly interactive and designed to meet the specific needs of its audience.  Current work situations are used to illustrate and teach new techniques. In-depth materials are provided including: Self-study Audio Series and workbook - Success in Business and Beyond™ - Emotional Intelligence for Corporate Results, a copy of the EQ Edge by Drs. Howard Book and Steven Stein, and a personal work journal.

Phase III - To reinforce learning and support the acquisition of new behaviors, each participant is offered the opportunity to “subscribe” to weekly “coaching” emails from Compete Intelligence™. These emails are designed to serve as active reminders that will help increase abilities and awareness in the emotional intelligence competencies of their choice. For each competency a total of four emails containing information and suggested activities and exercises are sent. It is suggested that participant select up to three competencies to work on for a total of 12 weeks of follow-up activity.
